National Film Awards 2021: Rajinikanth, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpayee, Dhanush And Others Honoured At The Prestigious Event
The 67th National Film Awards were announced in March 2021, but the ceremony was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 67th National Film Awards ceremony was held on Monday, October 25 and the awards were presented by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu. While megastar Rajinkanth was conferred with 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut and Dhanush received honours for their performance in their respective films.
The winners of the prestigious awards were announced in March this year. The ceremony was delayed owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kangana was bestowed with the honour for her performance in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi and Panga. The actress looked extremely happy to receive her fourth National Award today. Previously, she won the awards for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Fashion and Best Actress Awards for Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
Kangana Ranaut celebrated the special occasion by sharing a series of pictures from the venue.
Manoj Bajpayee was awarded with the honour for his performance in Bhonsle. After the ceremony was concluded, he was also seen interacting with Rajinikanth. Several pictures of him from the award ceremony have gone viral.

Tamil actor Dhanush, on the other hand, received the Best Actor Award for his role in Asuran. Rajinikanth and Dhanush were joined by Aishwarya R Dhanush (Dhanush's wife and Rajinikanth's daughter).
Priyadarshan’s Malayalam period epic Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea went on to win the Best Feature Film while Chhichhore, starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput, was presented the Best Hindi Film award.
Furthermore, The Tashkent Files won two awards - Dialogue Writer and Best Supporting Actress, which went to Pallavi Joshi.
